Wow!!! This must be shown to S.Jobs! :-)
Oh that’s surreal!
That is FABULOUS. :)
Great iCon! Lucky owners.
As much as I love my MacBook, I can’t imagine anything worse than a world where everyone’s computers are made by one company.
They are all running WIN XP :D
With the light turned of.
Sighting to behold!!
All I see are Macbooks, MBP’s, and Mac Pros at school. Of course, it is art school in SF. The labs are beautiful, row after row of Mac Pros. The library filled with iMacs. It’s a small heaven.
Cheers,
T
Yeah Mizzou! We like Macs a little bit.

Yep, it’s the same here in Oklahoma. Only about 20% of school-owned computers are Macs, but probably 40-50% of laptops I see are Macs.

I’m at University of Missouri and the majority of our journalism school students use macs. According to their website it’s almost 100 percent.
I just started university and am seriously considering investing in a macbook
True Story: While I was at law school I attended a guest lecture by a lawyer for Microsoft who was explaining the legal tactics they used to combat spam, phishing, etc. I was sitting near the front, with my PowerBook G4, taking a few notes. In strolls a classmate of mine about 10 minutes late. He unpacks his laptop and unveils yet another Apple symbol in the room. Macs make up about 1/4 of the laptops in the room at this point. The guest lecturer stops at this point and says “O.K. I think this is a new record. What is this, 1, 2, 3… 10 Macs in the room? Jesus.” At which point my friend the latecomer pipes up and says, “Well actually, mine’s a PC. I just stuck an Apple sticker on it ’cause I like Macs.” To which Microsoft’s counsel replied, “Okay, fine. Nine and a half macs.” It was a very good lecture.
OK, I’m a total neurotic, but I fear Apples takes over the computer market and “they” decide to start making mac os viruses that will really clutter our defenselles machines. After all, I’ve never had ANY anti-virus running in my macs.
I asked a professor friend of mine about this, and this is what he said…”yeah basically they can get a free iPod Nano when they get a Mac, so the kids all buy the laptop for the iPod”. Doesn’t really matter to me why they are buying them, they are buying them. Time to buy more Apple shares.
Spend over a thousand dollars (plus tax) to save maybe 150 on a nano. Maybe, maybe not. Maybe they just like the Macs. Great picture with those little white apples all aglow.
