This will only be good once the iPhone is no longer tethered with just AT&T service…

so the check out people at WalMart are supposed to set up the wireless service and do credit checks etc…thats kinda crazy to expect that to go well…when the AT&T personnel have enough trouble getting the deed done

It would have been nice for me, I had to drive 180 miles (round trip) to my closest AT&T store to order it and a second trip to pick it up.

you wouldn’t do it at the main checkout. they would have to set up something in electronics to handle the set up. which is why I am not going to run with this notion myself. I’ll wait and see what happens on Nov 15th.
