Same design, the same amazing sound quality
The 2nd gen. HomePod looks similar to the first one, with the only notable change being a larger touch display at the top. Like the HomePod mini, the new full-size Apple smart speaker comes with a U1 chip and built-in humidity and temperature sensors. Despite two fewer tweeters, HomePod 2 reviews indicate it sounds even better than the first model, though it does not go as loud. The new HomePod runs on Apple’s S7 chip that first appeared in Apple Watch Series 7.
