These exclusive blurrycam shots, which I found on an SD card left on my kitchen table next to a half-empty bottle of scotch, show what we think is a prototype retina-display 13-inch MacBook. It seems that, along with the high-res retina display like that found on the iPad, it also comes with a large bezel and the option to buy the device in white.
As ever with these things, the pictures are too crappy to be able to see anything clearly, but it makes sense that Apple is working on Retina versions of all its Macs. The 11 and 13-inch Airs are the obvious choice, except that there really isn’t any space left inside to jam in the giant batteries required. So maybe the regular 13-inch MacBook Pros, just updated yesterday, are the next best choice?
I guess we’ll know if and when they finally ship.
