Hey, what's up guys, Steve from Cult of Mac here and I finally managed to get out of my
0:05
office and I'm here at Mercedes-Benz World in Surrey to try out some new products from
0:09
Cobra and drive some cars around the track as quickly as I can. So, let's go inside
0:27
After a quick tour around Mercedes-Benz World, checking out the exhibits, the press gathered
0:31
around to check out Cobra's latest products. If you're a subscriber to our channel, you'll
0:35
know Cobra from the jump pack I covered a few months ago, but they also shown off a new XL version boasting a larger 11,100mAh battery. But, two products caught my eye at
0:44
the show. First was the Cobra CD-R875 HD dashcam, which does have a lot of the same features
0:51
as other dashcams, such as a 2-inch LCD screen, built-in GPS and a 3-way G-sensor to detect
0:58
impacts to automatically save and protect video clips in the event of a collision. But
1:02
what's really interesting about Cobra's offering is that it connects to your iPhone or Android
1:06
device via Bluetooth, to alert drivers to upcoming speed and red light cameras, as well
1:10
as live police locations and shared radar alerts from the Cobra iRadar community. If
1:15
only you could transfer video clips via the app, the same way you can do with certain point and shoot cameras, it would be perfect. The next product to catch my eye was the MySpeed
1:24
XL from Snoopa, which is a sub-brand of Cobra. The MySpeed XL gives you a 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen
1:30
to display and alert drivers to speed limits and changes in restrictions, which is all
1:35
super handy to have when you're driving on roads you're not familiar with. Once we had
1:39
all taken a good look at Cobra's latest offerings, it was time to have some lunch, along with
1:42
a competitive race against one another on Mercedes F1 simulators. Safe to say, I wasn't
1:48
too great, but it was all practice for what they had in store next

video from Cult of Mac. I'll catch you in the next one. Transcribed by https://otter.ai
