Well today I'm going to show you how to free up all of that space in no time. So let's get started

Other tends to be full of Safari bookmarks, texts, calendar entries and much more

And there's two main ways to delete the other files from your iOS device

The most successful method tends to be to wipe your device. Make sure you make a backup of your device in iTunes first

Then on your iPhone, iPad or iPod, go to Settings, General, Reset and choose Erase All Content

Then once your iOS device is rebooted, connect it to iTunes and restore from backup

These steps erase all cookies, temporary files and so on. There may be some other data left, but hopefully it's been reduced dramatically

If you're not really wanting to wipe your phone, but still want to gain some space back, there are a few more tips

Firstly, some people have tons and tons of texts. Never deleting them from when they first got their iOS device

But within the text there'll be hundreds of images and movies that people have sent you

So either delete individual attachments or delete entire message threads to help reduce

the size. Another tip is to try deleting and reinstalling certain apps and games

These can contain a lot of unneeded data that just collects over time

Particularly apps like Facebook and Instagram. You can see which apps are holding the most data by going to General, Usage and Storage

If the size of the app is vastly different from the size of its documents and data, try

and remove as much as you can. Or reinstall the app. Safari can also gather a lot of data from numerous sites after some time

Head to Settings, Safari and clear your history and website data. Well there you have it
