Hey what's up guys, Stephen Culls of Mac here and Apple has just released MacOS 10.12.2
0:07
to the public. So in this video I'm going to give you a guided tour to what's new
0:11
So let's get started. As always with software updates, the big features are bug fixes and stability improvements
0:24
But this update will be especially important if you're a MacBook Pro with Touch Bar user
0:28
as it should hopefully iron out a few bugs. As well as the bug fixes, there's also the ability to take screenshots of the touch bar
0:35
similar to the way you do for a general screenshot. Only difference here is a new shortcut which is shift command and 6, which will save a
0:41
screenshot of your entire touch bar to the desktop or you can use ctrl shift command
0:45
and 6 which will store it into your clipboard so you can paste it where it's needed
0:50
The most annoying change within the update is for MacBook users. Apple has removed the estimated time remaining feature within the top right of the menu bar
0:57
So now it just shows the power source along with any apps that are using a significant amount of battery power
1:02
So if you'd like an estimate of the remaining time your MacBook will keep running for, you're going to need to look for a third party app
1:08
Apple has also improved the reliability and setup of auto unlock, which can be found within
1:12
preferences, security and privacy. I've personally never had any issues with auto unlock, although I don't use it all too often
1:19
But let me know in the comments section down below if you've noticed an improvement with the new update
1:22
On top of that, there's also 3 new wallpapers which you may have seen at some of Apple's
1:27
keynotes, as well as all the new emojis that iPhone users got earlier this week
1:31
The update is available now for free on the Mac App Store. Well that's it for this video, if you enjoyed it, go ahead and hit that like button and
