OK, today’s MacBook setup doesn’t actually live in a camera and Lego museum like the headline on this post suggests — but close enough. The user is clearly a collector. The sheer number of cameras on display is impressive, and the Lego Star Wars spaceships flying up high on a shelf in the photo inspire some awe, too. And it’s not every day we see a dual-MacBook setup with both mounted open on stands, either.

Redditor Cabinetofcringe — great handle, although Cab’s cabinet appears full of cameras seemingly not cringe-worthy — showcased the highly entertaining setup in a post entitled, “Finally comfortable with my M4 MBP + m15r7, WFH+ gaming setup.” I asked Cab a few questions about his MacBooks specs, favorite cameras, Lego models IDs and more. But they gave me just one minimal answer.
“Just the cheaper Lego Star Wars sets, nothing fancy,” they said. In any case, I looked them up and put a few of them in the gear links list below.
Using a KVM switch?
A commenter asked if Cab uses a KVM switch to use hop from one laptop to the other for use with the same peripherals, like their Logitech MX Keys wireless keyboard and MX Master 3S wireless mouse.
“No, the monitor has input switching and the Logitech MX Keys [keyboard] and Master 3s mouse have instant BT switching for up to 3 devices,” Cab replied.

Cab’s two laptops flank a nice external display. It’s a spacious LG 32UN650-W monitor with crisp 4K resolution. That’s not a bad option if you want to move up to 4K or get bigger screens than what you have now.

“What’s the thing under the mug? Can it control drink temp?”
“It’s a digital cup warmer that lets me control the temperature and keeps my coffee warm all day,” Cab replied. “I cannot stand lukewarm coffee.” Hey, me neither! I might get one of those.
