Apple is moving up estimated delivery dates for some iPhone Duo preorders. Some buyers report that their orders will now arrive in November instead of December or even January 2027.
Delivery estimates for the iPhone Duo slipped into January 2027 soon after preorders opened late last week.
Some iPhone Duo preorders will arrive sooner than expected
The long wait times suggested Apple lacked enough stock to meet strong demand for its first foldable, amid reports of production issues. Other reports indicate the company may not sell iPhone Duo units to walk-in customers in select countries on its October 23 launch day.
However, some buyers are now seeing their delivery estimates move forward by weeks. In a post on X, YouTuber Matt Gonzalez said Apple moved the estimated delivery window for his 512GB Star White iPhone Duo from December to November 20–30.
Oh snap! My iPhone Duo order got moved up. Used to be December. https://t.co/SgfADfMW1c

Other iPhone Duo pre-order customers report similar improvements on the MacRumors forums. One customer’s delivery window moved from early December to the third week of November, while another saw their delivery estimate move forward by almost a month.
There is strong demand for the iPhone Duo despite its steep $1,999 starting price.
Not everyone is lucky, though
This does not seem to be happening for all preorders, though. Many buyers still report the same delivery estimates they received when they placed their orders. Even now, if you place a new iPhone Duo order, Apple’s online store shows a shipping date of late January 2027.
If your delivery date hasn’t changed, there’s no guarantee Apple will move it forward, but it’s worth keeping an eye on your order as launch day approaches.
Despite the improved delivery estimates, iPhone Duo stock still appears extremely limited. You may struggle to get one at your nearest Apple Store on launch day later this week.
