The Satechi ChargeView 140W Desktop Charger offers four USB-C ports to power up a MacBook, iPad, iPhone and other accessories all at once.
A highlight is a display that shows how much current is flowing through each port.
Satechi ChargeView 140W Desktop Charger targets cluttered desks
In a household where phones, tablets, laptops and wearables all compete for limited outlets, a multiport charger brings order and efficiency to the daily routine. Instead of juggling a tangle of single-device adapters, one compact hub can power everything at once, reducing clutter and freeing up valuable space on desks and kitchen counters.
The Satechi ChargeView 140W Desktop Charger can output a total of 140 watts, which means its one of the elite chargers that can juice up a 16-inch MacBook Pro at full speed. Two of its USB-C ports can handle the full 140W, while the two others top out at 40W each, so they can easily replenish an iPhone each.
A screen makes up most of the front of the accessory. This enables users to easily see how energy is being distributed.
“By making power visible, we’re giving users more clarity and confidence in how their devices are charging while delivering the performance they expect from Satechi,” said Barry Phillips, Satechi’s Head of Product Management.
Unlike traditional power bricks intended to be tucked out of sight, the ChargeView is expected to sit on the user’s desktop or counter. A stand allows it to sit vertically to save space or horizontally for cleaner cable management.
