Preordering The iPhone 15 Line

Yeah, so were you up at 5 a.m. last Friday

I was not. You put your iPhone pre-order? You weren't? No, I wasn't

You missed out of a lot of fun. I got my pre-order in, but I wasn't, I didn't participate

Not load. Oh, my God. I heard it was terrible. It was one of the rockier ones in recent memory

But so the thing is, though, if you didn't place your order bright and early, you

you're looking at extended wait times for delivery. Okay, I'm going to pull this up while you're talking so we can see where they're

I saw where they were at later that day, but I haven't looked since

If you go to Apple's sake, right now, like I did right before the show, if you want a pro max

which is the one that I think everyone's... The pro max, you know, in certain colors, is super in demand or short supply or whatever

I mean, kind of sounds like a combination of both in demand and not great production amounts

But right now, you place one for order, certain size combinations, color combinations

November 10 to November 17. The iPhone Pro, a little better. It was like October 20 to October 27

These started slipping like within the first half hour after three started November 10 I bet you it would be before that I mean they are very conservative with these numbers But still I mean you looking at November

And the caveat is that with all of these things, everyone I looked at it said

in-store availability on the 22nd. So you can go to the store maybe

You can maybe go to the store and get one tomorrow. Or today, if you're listening to it tomorrow

I mean, as always, we always recommend people. Go look at that. Just go look at Apple's website

And, you know, if you're like us here in San Francisco, there's multiple stores in the Bay Area

And you can look around and you say, oh, I want this phone. Where's it available? I want this phone

Where's it available? The pre-order was so messed up that by the time that I finally got it to accept my thing

which I'd already set up by now. You've done everything the way you're supposed to do it. Everything, right

All I wanted was an iPhone 15 Pro Max and natural titanium

By the time it stopped spinning, it said. delivery October 5th or something like that

And I'm like, well, this is crazy. But then it gave me the option to pick it up in store on pickup day and schedule

a time right then. Oh, wow. And even that slipped as I like, you know, fumbled around trying to press the button

with my bleary eyes. But you know okay so iPhone regular iPhone 15 and 15 plus same deal Now they still sold out that They did not sell out that day

Now, if you order one for delivery, October 6 to 13, also in store availability on 922

for basically every size and color that I looked at, there wasn't a single one that said it would not be available in stores tomorrow

So if you just want a regular one, go to a store, you can get one on launch day

Probably no problem. So, Airfan, what did you order? Yeah, so I was trying to pull this up while you guys are speaking

I failed. I let the internet decide what to get, what I should get

And that was a terrible idea I later realized. So when are you getting your Pro Max

I'm getting out on September 22nd. Yeah, so. Delivered too, right? Yeah, it's delivered too

That's what I thought. So I did order. right when the orders went live

It wasn't me that did the ordering, but it was ordered on my behalf. And so mine will be getting here September 22nd

and I put a little pullout on Twitter, and I said if this tweet gets

it wasn't a poll, it was a tweet, or I guess it was an X. If this X gets 200 likes

I buy the iPhone Pro Max And within probably two hours 200 people had liked it and I was like oh no what did I do you immediately started doing hand stretches

oh man I went to the Apple store and I held the Pro Max and it reminded me

why I don't buy the Pro Max man that phone is just it's just not comfortable in my hands

in any way and it's it's easier to drop because you just can't hold it as

easily. And I don't know, man, it's such a huge phone, but I was like, I committed myself at this

point. I can't go back on it. Right. So I ordered it. I did order the, um, the 15 Pro Max on that trail

baby. That's how we'd like to go. And I am really excited about that titanium finish. I think it's

I haven't gotten my hands on it yet, obviously, but I think it's the most beautiful iPhone finish that

Apple has ever offered. I haven't seen it yet. I could change my mind, but I does love that natural

metal look. I'm a huge fan of the color gray and this looks like a really beautiful

medium gray. So I'm excited about it, but I'm like, if I hate it, can I return it? Is that going

against what I committed to do? I don't know. But I'll probably get a shot for the whole year

I do like having a larger screen for sure. But that phone is so big
